Hi to everyone on here! I've just joined up on this site today! I have 2 adopted male cats and am currently on the lookout for a pedigree chinchilla here in Ireland, which is proving tough :-( joined this brilliant website for information and advice on these lovely cats and where I might be able to get in contact with breeders near me xxx any advice please let me know x

Well, I can't give you any advice--I had to Google "chinchilla" to find out what they were!  (My cats are SPCA specials and I don't know anything about pedigreed animals.)  But I wanted to welcome you to the site!

Hi, welcome to TCS!  It's nice to meet you.  I think chinchillas are so pretty and interesting, too.  I looked into getting a pair years ago.

Do you mean the rodent type or the Persian cat type?
