Skylar has something strange on his chin

Can anyone identify this picture?



I thought at first he may have burned himself because we left the fire pit open last night on accident. He always watches me really closely when I'm building up a fire in the fireplace. He may have gotten too close and burned himself. I figured he would be able to sense that the fire is too hot for him to go near. I looked up some images on the internet and there are some that look similar to my cat under 'cat acne'. Does anyone with a good eye know for sure? How does cat acne happen anyway?

It does sorta look like acne, but usually it's not that far back on the chin.  Acne happens most often from bacteria in the scratches and stuff on plastic dishes. 

Oh ok, thanks. I'm not sure what it is. I will keep an eye on it for any possible developments. I'm also doing some research around the net while I'm watching it. Thanks for the input.
