I saw this and just thought it was amazing. It's about 9 minutes so if you don't have broadband then you could always save it and then watch it.

Ken, thanks for pointing it out! It was amazing. Interactive art. Wished he'd done some cats. Lions don't count.

Really cool!! 18.4MB, but well worth the 2 tries and 3 hours of downloading via dial-up.

I can't read Korean, but I tried going to the www.jamizine.com and then Googling for "SICAF Seoul 2003" and "sand animation" - still couldn't find who the animator was or any more of his work.

Amazing fades - his artistic erasing of a previous scene to prepare for building the next one created very interesting dissolves. It all seemed very alive!
