Hey there, I own a black male of over 1 year. Today, as usual he rapidly ate the breakfast, but what's surprising is he's not even touching the lunch. I noticed he has a bloated belly and seems lethargic... I thought of taking him to the vet ASAP, but it's Sunday and the vet's closed. He went out now. He's mostly indoors, but sometimes we do let him out. Now he's gone outdoors. Please help... keeping fingers crossed

P.S. His litter box is full and it doesn't look like urinary stones.

It would be best to keep him indoors, if possible, so you can observe him. When cats are ill they frequently try to hide. If he hid outdoors you may not be able to find him. Could the bloating have been there before he ate?  You said his litter box was full, does that mean that he has pooped recently? Swallowing something he shouldn't, like a string, especially at his age, is a real concern, as a blockage can present as bloating. There are just so many possible causes.
