Hi! Welcome to the site. I would bet you've got your hands full with two youngsters in the house, mine is more like an old folks home, everyone lays around except Casper, but he's neurotic and only 6 years old. Good luck with your two, heres hoping to many. many happy years!
Thank you for the warm welcome, Di and Bob! I got my two when they were 3 months old, and since then, they sure have mellowed down, but yes, they are still quite active. Thankfully, they are both pretty mellow in nature and well behaved for the most part, except for the occasional trash can diving. I am in a process of purchasing lidded trash bins
Hello Im also new to TCS.I must say this is a very enjoyable site.I currently have 5 khildren in fur suits.Paddy, my dearest (very hard to pick a fav)rescue still had closed eyes.I paint houses and he was found in a puddle of water w/ eyes so clotted w/ pus he couldn't see his mom to nurse and his eyes hadn't even opened yet. After de-flea ,deworming,de- pus,and warm up,I hung his tiny body in a knee hi around my neck because I could not leave him to go to work,so he came to work with me.That way he was warm in a sling under my shirt ,I could feed him his bottle every hour,he was never alone, never hungry, purred all day,he could hear my heartbeat ,and the best part was he got big and strong and went with me to work until I got on disability for R.A. Now HE keeps ME
Hello betsygee! Yes, they can be quite rambunctious. It is a joy to see them run around the house though. Really glad I adopted two at once. I will post some pics after I figure out how.
Loopycann, I hear bottle babies and their adopted parents have really strong bonds. Your boy is adorable!
Welcome to the forum. It is always nice to hear about your cats. I love the names you gave them. Look forward to learning what your life is like with them.
