Good morning all.

Woke up with an awful headache this morning so will be resting some.

My mystic river book is due back today so I have some reading to do as I am only halfway through.

Need to finish off the laundry and do some more cleaning around the house today. Oh what great fun.

I have the sniffles - oh well, I have a box of tissue at my desk!

I don't think I will be online much today - I have a lot of work to do. When I am here I tend to forget my work responsibilities. I really need to win the lottery so I don't have to worry about working.

Went to Costco last night and picked up a nice pair of Thinsulate gloves - they are so warm. I may need them before the end of the week.

Merlin woke me up at 2:45 am this morning. He was playing with a straw and it was caught under the bedroom door. He was banging at the door trying to get to it. I found it and stuck it under my pillow so I wouldn't be awakened again!

Taking a poll for my sister, which name do you prefer for her new baby (to be born Nov & - it is a girl). She likes Gabriella Celeste or Morgan Celeste. She got Morgan from watching Survivor

. Her oldest is Isabella Killara.

Oh, I think that Morgan is a nice name for a baby, but what will she tell the child when she is asked "Where did my name come from?" How do you explain that you named your beloved child after the lamest losers on a stupid reality TV show?

I really think the people, not your sister necessarily, don't give enough thought to the implications of names they give children.

Nothing much here because I already am at work. My kids are at the daycare in my same building. I will see them in a few minutes after this.

Ack are we sure it's not Monday, this day is turning out horrible. 1st our computer system is down at work again after only being up for 1 day

. Then to top it all off I just got my new license in, with the wrong date. Now I have to take another day off from work to fix the registrys mistake, which is correct in their system though

I started my morning off kinda weird, Zack slept in the guestroom because he wanted to sleep on the side next to the wall (which is my side)...I don't really like sleeping on the other side...anyway, he slept in the other room which sucked because I was freezing last night and he usually keeps me warm. I thought he was mad at me, but this morning he was really lovey. Oh well, guess he wanted to sleep next to the wall....then I forgot today was Tuesday, and we have weekly meetings on Tuesdays and it was my day to bring breakfast...I was only 10 minutes late, but everyone was patiently waiting to eat! I am kinda nervous about my geology test tonight, so please pray that I will do good!! Hope everyone has a great day!

Oh, I gave Mittens a new nickname: Plump & Precious!!

I like Gabriella best and Morgan second.

Just got done burning a cd to send to my daughter and am getting ready to go out and hit the trail for a couple of hours.

I went to the ear nose and throat doctor end of last week and found out I have a sinus infection. Am starting to feel much better now. It's hard for me to tell when I get one because my sinuses are so messed up anyway! After I'm done with my antibiotics I have to go in for a CT scan to see if I will need surgery on my sinuses.

Just today and tomorrow left! I'm completely ready for Hallie and Jake! I even went to the vet and got some information on PKD so I can read the latest on Hallie's condition.

Peaches has no idea she is about to be traumatized again!

But maybe it will be easier on her this time since she's already been through it once. I don't think Carmella and Henrietta care too much.

Hallie and Jake's temporary room is all ready! They have a nice, new, never been used kitty potty, small boxes with towels in them for beds (just like kitties like), their own new food dishes and some toys!

Evening all...well it's 10 minutes away from Wednesday for me.
Getting irritated by the bronchitis that won't go away. Can't sleep too well at night and tired during the day. I just hope it goes away soon. And I have work tomorrow. Hmm...I better go try the thing people call sleep again.

This morning as I was feeding, I just took a minute to relax and look up and around me. Then I saw it, all the trees are changing colors, our Chinese Maple is just brilliant in colors. I watched the wind play in the branches of our trees and watched a Blue Jay hit a walnut against a tree limb trying to open it. It became very clear to me with everything going on, I had taken for granted that I live in a really nice place, I had forgotten what was like to stop and smell the roses.

Before coming into the house, I walked around the base of the walnut tree and made sure to step on the walnuts that were laying on the ground. They all fell off the tree to early this year, so I want to be sure the critters can get to them, before we toss them in the burn pile.

Not much here. Just getting ready to take Shae to preschool. Then dh works till 2 then he has a doctors appointment. He hurt his back at work yesterday

So thats about it. I added my sea monkeys in last night but i think they are dead..

I'll give it a week or so.

Been cleaning up around here, trying to get rid of things we don't need - we have too much of that!

Hissy - I know just how you feel. I have days when I just sit in the chair and watch the squirrels at work. I just love watching them, and so do the cats!

Hello everyone!

We have had a busy day so far. I know it's terrible and it is only Tuesday, but I can't wait for the weekend. The workplace has been a zoo. The leaves are all off the trees and it is raining out - talk about gloomy!

Kellye - I hope your headache gets better.

Tammie - Ditto on your sinus infection. However, only two more days to go until the two new furbabies arrive. Get your camera ready!

Candie - Good luck on your test.

My Dad is doing so much better, but we still don't know what caused his problem. He has a Dr. appointment tomorrow and we hope to have the answers then. My sister, brother-in-law and I are supposed to go the Minneapolis to see my Aunts next weekend, but it all depends on if we feel Dad can be by himself.
