my kitten was making funny noises so ive turned the light on to find her mouth covered in glue stuff! its nite time and im possibly thinking shes eaten a slug??? can someine tell me what happens if they eat a slug.is the goo really sticky on there face? ive really struggled to wipe it off it was like stuck to her mouth! it didnt smell like chemicals.id say almost like fishbate? im in nz and people wouldnt use something like glue traps here esp since she doesnt even leave the backgarden and I have toddlers so not obvius chemicals around?'could it be a illness? she seemed to have the stuffbon her front paws a bit too

It's hard to know if this stuff came from outside her or possibly from inside her but obviously you should gently try to wipe it off, look inside her mouth and if she isn't perfectly ok when your vet opens then get her there.

Bet it was infact a slug. How gross is that?! Yuck.......

I say that because once many years ago, I was in front of my house one night chatting with a friend before she drove away, in my black tights but no shoes, and as I walked back into the house, stepped on a slug, squishing between my toes, I about threw up!

The tights NEVER were okay again, it just wouldn't wash out, threw them out, and remember cleaning my foot/toes of the slimy thick glue like crap, oh it was just disgusting, and very hard to clean off......

Sounds the same huh? Eeeooo, sickens me to remember that.....

Wont hurt kitty though. Just gross.

Here in the UK slugs and snails carry lung worms. Not sure if this is same in other countries but its something worth checking out and getting your cat wormed if so

My dog candy died from. Lungworm. It's a terrible illness. Please take her to the vet as soon as possible just to make sure she's okay and will be okay.
Keep us informed please.

Stewball, so sorry about your dog passing, how sad and what a beautiful dog.....

Lungworm is ugly for sure, more common in dogs than cats, although cats do get it as well.

He was a beautiful dog with s beautiful nature. He and lotto loved each other dearly.
We were advised not to inoculate every 3 months because of his liver but......
This was in Israel.
How helpful loved my grandkids too.
