My 10 yr old Tiger tabby is very sick. I took him to the vet on 12/31 and on 01/13. The first time they told me he had pneumonia gave him 2 shots. The second time told me he still had pneumonia and fluid on his lungs gave him 2 more shots and amoxicellin. He hasn't been eating and When he did start eating a little I woukd give him the antibotic and he wouldnt eat so vet told me to take him off of the amoxicellin and now he is mouth breathing really bad. Called the vet and he is out sick.

Oh, I am so sorry that Tiger is so sick. Are there any other vets or emergency vets near you? The mouth breathing is not a good sign. Did your vet mention either syringe feeding or installing a feeding tube? Cats who are sick often don't want to eat, but they need nutrition both in order to recover and stave off fatty liver disease. Tiger has been gravely ill for a while now, and at a minimum he needs fluids and food. I really hope you can find him some help today.

I have called another vet but they don't seem to want to see him cause I can't pay cash right now. And my current vet is letting me pay him out in payments. I have worried myself sick. I have him in the bathroom with the shower on hot trying to see if the steam will help. All the other vet said was to put oxygen on him and I don't have oxygen.

Call the vet's office and ask them for a referral to another vet.  Ask them if they can work out a payment plan or something like that with the new vet.  Keep calling other vets to see if they will help you.

This is so frustrating. Nobody understands that some people have very limited incomes.

Aside from having him in the bathroom with the steam, try heating up some really stinky fishy cat food for him to eat.  He may not be able to smell very well right now, so if you heat it up slightly, that will help him.  You can also make it soupy with some warm water, which will make it easier for him to lick up.  He HAS to get food in, and maybe you could syringe feed him this soupy food if he won't slurp it up himself.  Here is a video on how to do that:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/227858/syringe-feeding-lucky-video-if-your-cat-is-not-eating  If you DO resort to that, then maybe you can get is medication into him too, because I'm sure it's sorely needed to help him recover.  Is his normal Vet's office open, even though the Vet is sick or is it a one Vet office?  This is, afterall, an emergency!  If there are other Vets in that office, wouldn't they see you with the same financial arrangement?

stephanietx's advice about contacting the humane society is a great idea, whoever the vet is that they use is giving them a nice discounted rate, which often times means that vet is more into helping than the money, and might very well allow pmts, low cost, etc.

Offer to write post-dated checks even.

If you have to call every vet in the area, do so, it might be the very last one you call who will have some compassion for your situation and help you get him help.

Tiger needs vet care, he badly needs antibiotics, fluids and nutrition in order to fight off the pneummonia.

ASAP too, before any irreversible damage is done. He can not fight pneummonia on his own.

Did you call your vet and ask them to refer you someplace?  Do they have a vet who's taking your vet's patients today?

As stephanie stated, this is why cats don't eat when they are sick, if they can't smell it they don't eat.

You have the antibiotics so you really need to get that down him, as well as watered down pate food or tuna water, or another great one for this is chicken baby food, water it down, warm it to very warm but not hot temp in microwave, and see if he will eat that. If not, then syringe feeding is next.

Then only put a small amt of the food into the syringe with his medicine, to be sure he gets the full dose. Then fill the syringe and gently squirt small amounts into the side of his cheek. Whether he wants it or not, he needs it and regardless of his struggle, get it done anyway.

Wrap him in a large towel so you don't get scratched, as he might kick with his back feet to avoid eating/being fed by you.

Get another person to help if needed.

A note about the antibiotics.

It is dosed at twice a day for a reason, it goes through their system and is gone in 12 hours, so if he is not given his meds every 12 hours, it is allowing time for the bacteria from the pneummonia infection to re-grow, which means he is not going to get better if he is not getting the meds every single time.

You don't want him to get so sick he has to be kept at the vets office during the night with IV fluids and meds, and you surely don't want to risk his life, but this can very well take a cat's life without vigilant care.

If you are not able to get him in to another vet very soon, then it is up to you to help him.

We are all here to advise you, ask anything.

Syringes can be found at drug stores.

How is Tiger today?  Did you ever get to see ANY Vet?  Hopefully you own Vet is back and you've had an opportunity to get Tiger over to see him.

I did get him to a vet yesterday and they changed the antibotic and gave him fluids but he passed away last night. He started having seizures. Thanks for all the good advise may need it in the future cause I have two other cats.
