My kitten is currently 5 months old, and she has severe corneal scarring, conjunctival and 3rd eyelid adhesions from a severe URI when she was a newborn. She seems perfectly healthy right now, except she continues to have clear, runny discharge from her eyes, more than is normal compared to my other cats without eye damage (I usually wipe it off 1-2x a day); should I worry/do anything about this, or is it normal for cats with such scarring?

Thanks.

She more than likely has herpes virus.  That normally causes the tearing in the eyes.  I would try her on some Lysine.  Give her 250mg per day until she is 6 months old then 500mg per day, divide it up into 2 doses.
