Help please!!

my Mischief who is about 11yrs was diagnosed with diabetes about 5/6 months ago
he foes take insulin shots twice a day, small amounts.
well things seem to going down hill for him. His back legs seem to be wobbly after going my research it seem that it could possibly be neuropathy, yes he will be going back to the vets. But I have seen that switching to a low carb food might help with the diabetes.
I have been trying to find one any ideas on food.....dry, wet???? I also have to keep in mind that I have another cat named Midnight, he is 10yrs old hope him eating the same food will be ok, or do I need to be buying separate food????
before switching foods.. Currently dry food Purina One I will also talk to the vet.
but when the diabetes first came about, I was told at this point I didn't need to change his diet.
well I am thinking at this time I need to.

any help or suggestions please let me know.
he is my boy and just watching him gets me very upset.

Low Carb is best for diabetics.  A lot of people use Fancy Feast Classics for their diabetic cats.  A lot of people can control it with diet alone and no insulin.  So look for Grain Free cans would be best.  Here is an excellent source of information for you: http://catinfo.org/?link=felinediabetes

Thank you both! Also just like to say, sorry for the odd words.. I am using my phone and well you know what they say... Damn you Auto Correct.

so throwing this out there.... Any idea on good cat litter?????!!!!!
since Mishy has been diagnosed of course he pees a WHOLE Lot more and well the clumping does not seem to work well anymore.. And I have tried different litters, name brand store brand and can not find one I like. Right now I am trying the non-clumping tidy cats seems to be working better but with his peeing even the non-clumping is "almost" clumping. I have 3 litter boxes out for two cats.
I have found one that I absolutely loved, Feline Pine. However my cats did not. I did try to transition them..
unless I try again but this time start with a very very small amount.
CHOOSING CAT LITTER SHOULD NOT BE THIS HARD!!!
venting done, thank you.

hope anyone has any other suggestions???

My cat has been diabetic and peeing for a year. We go through a lot of litter. The best solution I've come up with so far is having my husband clean the litter boxes.
