Hey there! I am on here to connect with other cat owners and lovers. Also because each one of my cats have some quirks and this would be a great place to find some opinions and advice. So here is a little bit about each of my feline fur-babies.
Elijah is two years old and is a grey and creme domestic short hair. Adopted him from a shelter along with his brother from another mother Gabriel. Elijah is definitely one quirky cat. He is very touch sensitive. And doesn't cuddle very often but nearby. He loves to lay on book bags or duffel bags and grocery bags. Loves to lay on paper too. He loves to sleep in the bathtub or sink also. Sometimes he just likes to put his paw on your face and leave it there. And he will greet and demand attention from any new visitor. He has some recent serious medical issues but he is making a slow recovery. One more cute quirk of his, when I or my boyfriend are stretching to workout on the floor, he will lay next you and stretch with us.
Now on to Gabriel. He is a cream/orange domestic short hair. He is our mountain lion. He loves to cuddle and even under the blankets with us. He loves to play in trash bags too, he will hide until his brother or sister walk by and bam he pounces on them. He had a health scare recently too but he is fully recovered, thank goodness cause it was scary. He loves to spend hours on the front porch watching the world outside. And when its nice enough he enjoys the comforts of our fenced in back yard, romping and pouncing on his brother who likes to just lay there and rub on the grass. He will follow you to the bathroom and kitchen without fail each time. And the rattle of the front door sends him bolting to go out to the porch. He will even sit there and beg to be let out and will reach with his paws to try and get the door handle. He is one chill cat also. His vet remarks he is one memorable cat. After he is out of the crate he lounges at the office like at home, even cleaning himself as well. His favorite spot to rub and scratch is the chin and cheek area. He will put his whole body weight on you.
And lastly we have the current rescue Alannah Lou. She was dumped out at the farm at about two months of age. She was very tiny and dirty when she was brought home. A bath and checkup was done and she is now 8-9 months old and about 7 pounds. She is one strange kitten. She loves to talk and cuddle but only with me. I have never had a feline so attached. She follows me to every room. And even has her own spot in the kitchen so she can just be with me. She will often meow her tiny little voice till I hold her. Then she falls asleep and can lay in my arms for hours. She loves all sorts of toys and the boxes we put out are her and her brothers favorite things to play and sleep in as well. She is an orange domestic but she is a spit fire. She has yet to be spayed due some other vet expenses, no she wasn't planned but with shelters always full we would be doing more harm than good giving her up. I love her to death. She does have a problem with peeing, we even junked part of our couch cause of her urinating. I am convinced its because she isn't spayed but if there is other advice as to why she does this, please let me know.
So those are my feline fur-babies. I also have three dogs, two guinea pigs, two turtles, two plecos and a handful of fish. Not to mention the boyfriend, haha. Also may be moving out to the farm where we plan on obtaining some chickens, goats, hogs, maybe some cows and eventually build a stable for some horses. Lets hope! cause that would be awesome!!
Have a lovely day or whichever time it is for you!! Thanks for reading!!
Alannah is the first picture, I believe just a week or little over with us, then there is Elijah his one of his favorite spots and sleeping Gabriel. He was still very sick in that picture.
