to be obsessed with Garfield and be in your thirties? I'm not saying that I am, of course--I'm just asking for a friend. My "friend" really loves the Garfield movies and watches them a lot.

I'm of the belief that as long as you're not 1) objectively harming someone else physically or emotionally; 2) obsessed to the point of affecting your lifestyle (i.e harming yourself), nothing can be "wrong". Do what you want, love doing it, and live life happy.

I totally agree. Plus I just love ginger cats :)
