Monet, and possible Cassie, got into my fish supplies and ate some fish food.

Hikari Tropical Wafers to be exact.. and they ate the whole bag.

Can someone check the ingredients and tell me if anything is dangerous? Looks OK to me, but a second opinion helps

The only thing that sticks out for me is the garlic.  It is well down on the list so hopefully it won't create an issue.  There are several things in there that could cause digestive issues if your kitty is sensitive but they aren't poisonous.

Sounds like something my cats would do.  I don't see anything in the ingredients that looks harmful may just upset tummies for a bit.

As a child, a cat that we had named Mimi got into our aquarium supplies and ate an entire bag of fish food as well as the actual fish a week later. She had orange poo and pretty rough diarrhea for a little while, and she cried for an hour or so after eating it. Ultimately, she lived to be 14. She was fine lol.

So, are your fish going hungry?

My cats like the smell of flaky fish food as it's very shrimpy, but they haven't tried to eat any yet.

I know I am late but...

My three love fish food... It started when we first got them and they were interesting in everything we did, including feeding the fish. We held a flake out for them to sniff one day ... and the rest is history. When they hear us getting the container out they come running the same way they run for their treats! We actually sprinkle it on their food when they don't seem to have an appetite (we have some tummy troubles in the family, so it happens fairly often).
