I would like to try something here.

First I give some links where one can learn a huge amount from how to make better photos and then you could show off how you did manage to improve photos you take. I think it would be fun for all this way :D

I think first thing to look is composing and shooting angles, perhaps the most important bit and also most rewarding to improve. Then learning to see the light, depth of field, camera settings, cameras+equipment and all that can come long time after those, so finding information from composing would be first step.

Then, with cats, it is sometimes harder and sometimes easier to predict what they are up to next, but quite often one can have some idea what things lead to certain responses and that way one can know in advance what to except. That is key things in my opinion for getting interesting photos.

For example I know that when I let my boys out, first they like to gather around me and rub their head and sides against my leg, that lasts for a short while and then they get urge to explore, but if I toss a ball few times they prefer playing over exploring, this way I can make them to act such way that I can take photos of them while they are playing.

That way knowing how cat will respond one can direct them to act such way that one can get those interesting pictures.

Learning how cats respond to different things will help in that and also knowing them as individuals, as cats are not all the same.

One important thing is to get on cat's level, one needs to go low.

Second important thing is to get enough close, fill that picture, but if cat is moving leave more room to front of cat in picture so when looking at the picture one can see where cat is moving to.

Those two things are shooting angles and composition related.

Have fun, enjoy cats and taking pics of them, lots of pics, I guess the most important bit :D

Great tips! We actually have an article about this very topic, so you may want to see if it's missing any of these and add them in the comments section there!

How to Take Good Pictures of Cats

I would need to use some pictures in text to explain few thing better, also would need to make some pics, quite a lot of work and not sure if I have time for all that, but I could try to do some bits now and then.

I don't think you'll be able to post pictures in the comments section there. Only text tips :) You can always post additional tutorials here though
