I could use some good thoughts....

My hubby is in the local congressman's office finding out about residency and a work permit for me, as I have had so much trouble in that situation.
I really could use your positive thoughts and vibes as it would help for me to get a job etc.
The reason I ask for those thoughts is because I have had so much trouble with it, because of my mother in law, etc, she has done a lot of damage - I cannot begin to explain, too much to say here.

Oh sweetie... so sorry you're having difficulty with this. I'm pulling for you though. What is wrong with the INS anyway? You just never know how they are going to react. My husband (Iraqi) applied for his greencard just after 9/11 and had his approval a few months later. But they're giving a cute little Kiwigurl a hard time? I just don't get it.

I went thru a difficult situation - long story, but it pertains to having my mother in law trying to get me deported.

I have been given the name of a woman who works for the department of justice to get the ball rolling.

Oh Kellye, little by little! I so hope you can get things straightened out. I know the wheels in government agencies turn slowly, but I hope the woman in the Dept. of Justice can help you undo the damage that was done. You so deserve it!!!! You'll be in my prayers.
