1 c sugar
3T. cocoa
milk as needed to thin to desired consistancy
cook until sugar is melted.
Add 2 tsp. butter or margarine, allow to melt and stir in.
Enjoy !
Best w/homeade biscuits (I like the middle ones), but not bad with canned ones!

Thanks Kitten, sounds good.

Hershey sandwiches are made like grilled cheese substituting Hersey bar for cheese. Be careful, hot inside for a long time.

Gotta try one of them sometime ! The bad thing is, I'm a diabetic, so chocolate sweets are a special treat for me....am patiently waiting for a SF chocolate bar that tastes like a real Hershey bar!

KittenKrazy;

I am not diabetic, but I've been on Atkins for about 4 months now. I really love chocolate, so have been trying to find good sugar-free chocolate treats. Most of them are not very good.

However, there are new sugar-free Reese's peanut butter cups out that are pretty good (not quite as good as the original, but better than any others I've tried). And my best discovery is Edy's No Sugar Added ice cream - there is a triple-chocolate variety that tasted just as good to me as regular ice cream. I've also tried the mint chocolate chip, and that's good too.

Yeah, Edys and Mayfields have the best SF ice cream. I have found some of the Russell Stover SF candies that are good, but thus far, not a good, plain chocolate bar.
And that probably is my favorite, just a plain Hershey bar or Kiss. Word of advice: do NOT try the Walden Farms carb-free, SF, chocolate flavored syrup! Tastes like medicine !
Have you tried the Atkins shakes in a can? I fell in love with them, but then tried Carb-rite brand, tastes better, same carbs, $2 cheaper !

Have you ever heard of Frango Mints? They are sold by Marshall Fields in Chicago and now have a sugar-free version that my diabetic friend loves! I found them on sale 1/2 price right now:

I haven't tried the Atkins shakes, but I do like their endulge wafer candy bars.

I heard a rumer about Shasta diet chocolate soda that's made with splenda instead of nutra-sweet (supposed to avoid that too on Atkins), but I can't find it anywhere. Somewhere I read that it is very good on ice with a little cream mixed in...
