~~I'm so glad to have found this site! In November last year, a semi-feral cat began living under our verandah with her 4 kittens. We trapped everyone, desexed mum, and fostered the kittens for a month until they were ready for rehoming. Now we are trying to befriend mum (Doris), and also a stray friend of hers (Blue Eyes) who has just turned up too. At first we thought Blue Eyes was a neighbour's cat pinching food, but then realised she was there all the time. We're taking her into the vet on Friday for a health check, confirm gender etc - fingers crossed that we can catch her and that she's not pregnant! Doris was very wild until a few weeks ago, when she started rubbing round my legs. Now she spends quite a lot of time inside, sits on my lap, and plays obsessively with balls and dice, but is still very timid and jumpy. So most of my interest is in the Caring for strays and ferals forum. I have never done anything like this before and have so many questions :-)
