Thank you for sharing this article Norachan.  How terribly sad.  I hope their efforts will pay off.  I can't imagine it being common practice to not spay/neuter and then drown the offspring.  Yet without the resources available what are the people to do. I hope their efforts will work and things will begin to change.

It is very sad, isn't it? Nice to think that things are starting to change.

I was interested in the part that said if 70% of the feral cat population were spayed or neutered then the area they were in would be able to support the number of cats. But only for a few years, surely? 

I've been trying to get 100% of the cats I feed TNRed and I'm starting to panic because it's already late January and there are still two unfixed female cats. They've resisted all my attempts to trap them so far, I think they've worked out what I'm up to.
