Anybody remember a song that has the term deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in it?  I think it's probably from the 1960s, and it just sort of popped into my head the other day.  I can't remember any other lyrics or who might have sung it, and googling doesn't help at all.  If this rings a bell with anyone, please put me out of my misery and tell me what it was??!

Does the singer sound like a British man? There is a song called "Galaxy Song" by Monty Python that mentions deoxyribonucleic acid in it. He became popular in the late 1960's, I believe, so it matches the time period that you are talking about. The song is available on itunes.

Oops! Eric Idle (another British guy?) rerecorded "Galaxy Song" and made it "Galaxy DNA song." The original Monty Python version does not mention DNA. So, it might not be the right song.
