hide candy from themselves so they don't eat the whole darn bag?!! :emba:
I rediscovered $1 gourmet jellybeans at WalMart and man oh man, I cannot be trusted with them. I would eat the whole bag (except for the cherry & cinnamon ones) in one sitting if I let myself! Such a little piglet. :lol3:

I'm like this with peanut butter which is high in calories, if it were up to me it wouldn't even be in the house. Or if we just had the chunky kind I wouldn't touch it! Also oreos are another thing I'd eat all of in one sitting lol!

Oh yeah.  We only eat sugar free candy in our house (hubby is diabetic) but if you eat more than about 3-4 pieces it an wreak havoc on your intestinal system, so oftentimes I have to hide them or suffer the consequences.

I really get the jelly bean thing. Jelly Bellys are my downfall.  And wine gums.

Definitely cannot be trusted....

Yep.  I don't buy extras too often because I don't want the temptation.  Especially this time of year!

Jelly beans sound great right now.  I'm not sure I've ever heard of wine gums.  Sounds interesting!

Ok; I'm off to ice birthday cupcakes.  So much for no treats right?

M & Ms with peanuts.........I can eat a large bag at one sitting. They are just wonderful.

OTOH, I tucked a big package of Reese's peanut butter cups in Rick's Christmas stocking for him. We put them in the freezer and I think there are still six left. I binge....Rick knows how to make them last.

What are wine gums?

Aaron bought me a bag of mini eggs for Christmas. I am trying hard not to open them because once I so I will eat the whole bag.

Not to be trusted with anything that's sugary or milk chocolate unless it's orange or coffee flavoured.  Definitely has to be hidden - and locked away.

And the key buried in an undisclosed place in the garden...

Honestly, with all my supposedly 'healthy lifestyle', I'm hopeless with lollies

They're just jubes, but they're not sugar coated.  They must just be a British/Australian thing.
We have wine gums in Canada, at least where I live. I like them way more than jujubes.  They aren't as sweet and they aren't as jelly like in consistency. And they are a bit more sour tasting.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!
swampwitch swampwitch yeah....that's the problem - you still know where they are! :lol3: But if I have to get up to get something, then I tend not to. Wow, how lazy do I sound?
I get really annoyed at DH if he "helps" by hiding anything from me though. :bat:

What's really great is to hide the candy and then find it weeks later after forgetting about it, it's like finding a gold mine! And yes. I can't stop at one bite, I want the whole bag. I really wonder why I buy it at all, other then I can't resist!

Here, that just never happens... it's not in the house long enough to forget.

What are wine gums?
Wine gums used to be made with wine ages ago. They are kind of like jujubes but more flavourful - real fruit juice rather than artificial flavourings. If you want to try them, look for Maynard's brand.

I have to ration my sweets in winter - been 5 weeks since I have been off the yard, and I have nothing left, not a bit of chocolate, not a cookie crumb, absolutely nothing.
