Hi all,
My boy Louie (age 7, neutered, indoor only) acts normal in every way except one. I noticed a few drops of light colored blood on the side of my litter box. After some spying, I determined it's Louie (my only boy). I recently gave him a shot of Convenia but I'm still seeing the blood.
He does not seem to be in any pain or discomfort. His appetite is normal, he's playful and very affectionate as always. He's not excessively grooming that area, no excessive meowing (he did that earlier this year when he had pancreatitis). In short, nothing seems to be wrong with him, except those little droplets of light blood.
Because of an outbreak, I recently treated all 8 of my cats for giardia. After that he got the Convenia for the blood drops. They're still continuing. Any thoughts? I figured Convenia would kill any potential UTIs....
Now does this look like a cat in distress? :-)
