Missed a funny moment

Sometimes I wish I have a microcamera embedded in my retina that continuously takes videos, which is archived for 48 hours.

I just had to share the funniest thing I've seen Jed do. It's probably not even 5% as funny in words without video. We were playing with a string toy from room to room. After a few unsuccessful attempts at catching his prey, he decided to channel all his remaining rage and fury into that one pounce. He ran so hard, so fast, towards the string that I was startled and jerked the string towards him. He braked so hard that although he managed to catch the string with his front paws, his momentum carried his entire back body, lifted his whole body off the ground, did a somersault and landed on his back.

He was so startled he ran under my bed.

I really really wished I had caught that on camera.

It's moments like those that get you thinking about wearing a head cam around the house. :lol3:

I'm sure Jed doesn't think it's funny but I can't help laughing at this story.  Sorry Jed, I must be a mean cat parent.

:lol3: Poor muffin! I love the frantic acrobatics our cats do when we throw treats for them. They chase them as if their lives depend on it with no regards to where they're going to land!

I'm seriously considering getting one of these now. :lol3: There were a few other moments, but none as funny and regretful as this one.

I love how embarrassed they get when they do something silly. :lol3:
