Theme - Cats & Their Food Dishes

The theme for this month is: cats showing off their food bowls or dishes. Food dishes can be full or empty, and cats can be eating or just, well, in the picture

Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, January 15th

The Rules:
  1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread.
  2. Image needs to be clear and not too small. 480 pixels high by 640 pixels wide minimum should be a good enough size.
  3. One submission per member please
Our cats are ALL amazingly beautiful! This friendly photo contest is about the way in which the cat is captured in the picture. We're not looking for professional photography, but do try to keep things like image quality, lighting and composition in mind.

Good luck everyone!

I love this theme! Unfortunately my favorite picture is to small, but here is one that I took in a series showing how Maia wouldn't eat out of this brown rimmed bowl! She had to dip her paw and lick, kinda like Fun Dip
You can see her tongue sticking out a bit! Funny thing was that as soon as I changed it to a blue rimmed bowl, she dove in mouth first
.

This is a tough one! I'll have to have a talk with Abby and see if she is willing to pose. ;)

I could get them to pose if I was standing OVER the dish with a can of food in my hand lol.

These won't win any prizes but I did manage to catch both Casper and Cocoa right now as we put down some kibble for them to nosh on.  Both have the same set up; a Fiestaware bowl for the kibble and the water bowls are set I got at PetSmart (really food/water but they work much better just for water).  Casper's setup is raised due to his age - it makes it a bit easier for him to eat out of.  They are fed at opposite ends of the kitchen, mostly because we can't fit both near each other in that room.

This photo is back from when Pooper was little and I could never get a good shot of her. She always turned up as a little black and white blur on camera!
One day, I finally got one of her at the dish. She couldn't run around while trying to get a drink :lol3:

This is the picture I really wanted to enter but it's not large enough
 A little Ying and Yang
. This is Maia and her kittenhood friend CeCe. We would go over to visit when they were kittens.

Neffie and Cleo eating their first birthday cake. My 9 year old daughter made a salmon and soup cake with a paper candle.

Great pictures!

I just realized I posted this in the Lounge instead of in Fur Pictures
Moving the thread to the right forum...

Camelot and his grumpy-old-man-eating-face:

That isn't his real eating bowl - it is actually a temporary replacement bowl until we get a new one, since he broke his original. I was preparing his dindin and he reached up and knocked it over .
But anyhoo!

Mouse doesn't normally eat out of a feeding bowl - far too boring.  He gets his food thrown so he can chase it around the room. I keep his food in a tin that I carry about and have it beside me what ever room we're in. On this occasion he decided to come and investigate the tin I was using at the time.
