Auroral activity will be high. Weather permitting, highly active auroral displays will be visible overhead from Inuvik, Yellowknife, Rankin and Igaluit to Juneau, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay and Sept-Iles, and visible low on the horizon from Seattle, Des Moines, Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, and Halifax.

For those of you in Canada, you might see it! I might be able to see it, but I'm too far south.

When I lived in Alaska I treasured seeing the aurora, to this day if I see anything about Alaska I cry. I find things like the aurora, ocean, nature in general highly personal lol.

We're going to look for it tonight once it gets dark. I love seeing the lights and sometimes, they make their way down into PA.

Thanks for the link, Cory, l've bookmarked it.

ln the 34 years l've been here, l've only seen this phenomenon once, and it was eerie and amazing at the same time. l'll definitely watch for it tonight.

I'll definitely look out for it tonight, but it'll probably be cloudy as usual when anything exciting happens in the night sky! The only time I've seen the aurora was in a plane going to England. It was breathtaking!

Sooooo jealous. Not a chance here in Southern California. My husband and I have considered trying to join a tour group that targets places where you have a good chance of seeing it.

Well, it clouded over here last night. Typical!

raintyger raintyger I would love to go way up north and see the aurora. That would be a trip of a lifetime.
