My 6 month old kitten has the most awful, foul smelling poop. He's dewormed and to date with all of his vaccinations. He's been on the same brand of wet food since he was 8 weeks old and he eats 3-4 times a day and drinks plenty of fresh water. As far as frequency, size and consistency, his poop is normal, it just smells extremely foul. The smell actually clears the house out because it's so bad. Is there anything I could add to or eliminate from his diet that will help control this??

No definitely do not switch to a dry diet. Which Fancy Feasts are you feeding? If they have gluten in them that could be an indication your cat has a hard time digesting grains. It's best to stick to the Classic versions of the Fancy Feast. Here's a list: http://www.felinediabetes.com/glutenfree.htm . You could try Probiotics to see if that helps.

I agree with cprcheetah. Stick to FF Classics and only feed fish varieties once or twice a week. My kitten's poop smells worse with the fish varieties, so it works out nicely that he only needs one or two meals of it a week.
And definitely do not switch to dry!

And remember, use the CLASSICS only. The Grilled, Roasted, Flakes, etc. all have wheat gluten, or other carbs in them. The CLASSICS are fairly low in carbs, which will really cut down on the smelly poops
I 2nd the use or probiotics. Just open up a capsule and mix them right into the canned food. I give my furkids the same ones I take. For a 6 month old kitten , maybe use 1/2 - 1 capsule per day.
