Yes, this is Emilio! He goes after me wherever I go around the house! I've never have a cat so attached. He is sooo lovely and tender, I love him so much. Sometimes I feel myself being watched ;)
Wherever and if ever I change room he goes with me, if he is resting at his seat wide sleeping and I get up of the coach going upstairs, I've realized- it's a question of a few seconds that he comes upstairs too! And when I come back downstairs he comes after me and only when I st down again he sits too.
Do your cats have curious behaviors like this? Tell me ;)

I like your idea for a thread!

It sounds like you have a little cat-shaddow that loves you and wants to know what you are doing in case he misses something!

I don't think you just feel like you are being watched - I think you ARE being watched!

I have a little shaddow too, though he sometimes decides to spend time on his own now he is 3. I tread on him a lot as he can be very quiet and you don't realise he's right at your feet.

His cutest habit though has to be not getting up early like other cats but laying on my bed until I wake up, and when I look up he will roll over and wait for me to rub his toasty warm belly.
Very very occasionally he will get up first and then I really miss our routine.

My RB kitty, Callie used to follow me around.  Now, Tumbles is my follower.  Most of the time he comes to see what I'm doing.

Oliver is sort of like this. He will initially go wherever I go, see what I'm doing, then wander off. The only time he doesn't is if he's super sleepy, he'll stay in his desk chair/bed. Or if he's put off by the noise of my children, he'll go up into my bedroom without me. It's very sweet!

Jed used to be like that when I first brought him home. He'd follow me everywhere. My workstation was in the living room, so he spent a lot of time there, but if I were to get up and go to the bathroom or my bedroom to get something, he'd follow me there and then back out.

Ever since I moved my workstation to my bedroom though, he doesn't do that anymore. He still occasionally jumps on my desk and sleeps between my keyboard and monitor, but I miss the days when he'd follow me everywhere.

I can see I'm not the only now who has got followers!
Sometimes I can't help laughing at him- it's so hilarious he is a dog more than he's a cat ;P

My cat Joy, looks for my husband when he comes home and will not let leave him alone. This is something new she is doing....I feel left out.

Atari follows me everywhere and if I move when she is not looking she starts meowing and occasionally yowling to get me to talk to her so she can find me again. It's cute but horribly annoying at times xD Fawkes on the other hand follows my fiance but tends to play the 'I'm not really here' game where she hides under everything to be out of sight.

Sebastian not only follows me everywhere, he hitches a ride when he can. He climbs up on my shoulders and will just lay draped around my neck as I go about my business. He especially likes to do this when I am cleaning or making food, especially his food!! It's kinda uncomfortable cause I have to bend over slightly so he doesn't slide off, clawing me to death in the process, but he's so cute, I usually put up with it for several minutes before I get him off of my back, lol.

I had kittens when I was really young so my mom cared for them and they were outdoor/indoor cats and weren't very friendly. Now I have my first kitten and she is strictly indoor kitty and so far very loving. I always found males to be more cuddly but this female is very cuddly and active she enjoys following me watching me clean and take care of the animals. I really hope she doesn't outgrow this and still enjoys "helping" me when she gets older :) congrats on you and your cat having such a nice bond :)

We call Bob my little stalker. She follows me everywhere I go and when I come home from being out she asks me questions about where I have been. Or maybe she is complaining that I have been gone too long. Her meow is very soft, more of a little 'mew', so it is very sweet. Demanding, but sweet.

I feel bad because I step on her, trip over her and bump her in the face with my elbow a lot. She is rarely more than a foot or two away from me and it creates some personal space problems. We have had a few issues between her and Sammy. He loves to lay in my lap and she is not terribly thrilled with that. For such a seemingly sweet little kitty, she can sure smack her brother pretty hard and give a great 'we are not amused' look.

She also likes to get under the blankets with me in bed and I get a lot of head butts and face rubs. I love my little Bobbles :rub:

OMG, you wouldn't believe it, I was just reading an exert from it on line - or I think it was an exert, I doubt you can read the whole thing for free.  I was looking for something about cats and social hierarchy: came up with some very good reads and his stuff was one of them!

One of the other book exerts was from Hart and Pederson but that was from back in about '86 I think as the references seemed to stop by '84.  Still interesting though!
