I am so sorry about Krash, he sounded like a fun-loving boy and he was very handsome.  You made me cry with your loving tribute.  R.I.P. Krash. Take care

i think this tribute is amazing...especially the part where he is very talkative....i can almost hear it.  also the part about stopping and crashing over. lol.

i think of things differently than "the bridge"....because i think you will see krash again....only in another "form" because "energy" like that never dies....just changes form.

he will see you and say.. "you were a great owner...i was your cat....but hey...how else could i talk to you...i was a cat".  take care.

I was very touched by Krash's eulogy. I cried and I laughed as well. Your relationship with him reminded me of my "kitty soul-mate". A little calico by the name of Chancy. She too fell victim to cancer (stomach).

It gets easier with time.

@Krashballz  , that's the beauty of it...you don't have to "give anything" because you already have....just by being a good owner...IMO you already are.

the stuff you did for krash, is way more than i did for my little guy, i still have regrets...like "why didn't i get...second opinions outside the home vet clinic, or holistic, or whatever". i don't know why his story out of  some others touched me more...but now i am going to scour TCS because i have a 14yr old dsh, with some health problems and i want to do as much as i can to keep him in good quality of life. i know it is weird to say but krash's story helped me alot.

cat nap cat nap Thank you for telling me that. It makes me feel good to think that what Krash went through, and what I went through, wasn't all for nothing.
I think when we lose a cat, everyone always goes through the "could've, would've, should've" phase. Really, it's just us beating ourselves up over something that probably was out of our control. But I promised my new kitties that now that I KNOW better, I'll DO better. Krash was my first real cat. All my others were strays and half ferals that I just gave names to and fed. Krash was indoor only, and the first cat I ever tried to take care of properly. I didn't know a lot about good cat care. Plus he pretty much just rolled with whatever, so I always thought I was doing it right. Only now do I know better.
It's a great decision that you've made to help keep your kitty happy. That makes you an awesome owner too! It's never too late to start, and if you start a thread about the problems your kitty is having now, I promise you'll find a lot of people ready to help you learn how to make his life happy & healthy for a long time. The people on this website are an invaluable source of info and support. Cuz hey, we're ALL cat people :)

@Krashballz  yeah...it's true what you say about "out of our control", my sister says it too, its just that i sometimes get stuck in not realizing the limits... or thinking that if  i do "a" then "b" will happen.  i'm new to the site....so i will read as much as i can....then maybe start a thread....but my questions may already be answered in other threads so i will read first. thanks CAT people.

So many tears, myself included, as I read your story of your Krash.

What a beautiful boy, friend and companion.

I too, have that same hope, that someday we will meet our animal loves again. Somehow, our hearts can be whole again.

Sorry for your loss and pain.
