My Wife and I are cat lovers we have both grown up with cats in our lives. 2 years ago while at work, I found a small young female cat wandering the parking lot. It was chasing after people but everyone ignored it. I gave it some food and found it was very very hungry. I ended up bringing it home to wife (then fiance) and gave it to her as an early christmas gift. She was still feeling some of the pain from the passing of her older cat and I think it really helped her. I tried to find out where the cat came from before I adopted it, but I worked in a very large commercial area and there was no houses for at least a mile in either direction. My wife ended up naming her "Luna".

Fast forward 2 years, now married and living in a small cottage. Luna was a happy cat, very vocal, and sociable. A week before christmas this year, My wife and I decided we wanted to get another cat to keep Luna company while we were working or away. We adopted a larger Male cat named K.G. about the same age as Luna from a shelter. He is very loving, playful, and enjoys peoples company. He is also no aggressive towards other cats, but he does like to push territorial boundaries. So far its been a rocky road between them, but I am optimistic it will turn out well.

My goal in joining this site is to learn more about cats and perhaps share what I know.

thanks!

Hi.
Welcome to TCS.  I hope you enjoy it here and look forward to seeing more posts from you as you look for information and contribute to some of the many discussions that go on.  Luna and Kaygee look very fir and very confident, curious cats, and also remarkably happy to have their photograph taken!  I'm sure they get up to plenty if mischief and can't wait to hear about it.
