Hey everyone, so...last June, my cat Kookie had to be euthanized...*sigh* she was such an amazing kitty, passed so young, was probably only a year old. The way things happened, it was so odd and depressing. She was pregnant and ready to pop, but she had complications while giving birth..the first kitten was stuck inside her and I had to take her to the ER who helped remove the dead kitten. They then told me to lube her up when she starts pushing the next kitten. Couple hours later, I noticed she was smelling really bad, like rotten eggs, and I called the ER and they said it's normal to just watch her and make sure she delivers fine and it was so painful watching her try to give birth, the next few kittens she popped out were dead and underdeveloped..the stench was worse and Kookie refused to eat or move and I couldn't come up with 2000$+ for surgery so I was forced to give her up to the humane society so they could help her. They said I could try to readopt her later, to call and see how she's doing later. I called and then they told me that they had to put her down because she was infected from the inside and basically rotting inside out..damn this broke my heart..I wish I could have saved her..but they said it was too late..RIP Kookie
I love you forever and always
