Geez! I'm so tired that I don't even have the energy to make anything for dinner; even pouring milk on cereal is too much effort.

For the second time this week, I'm heading to bed without dinner.

Night everyone!

Not good to be so tired.  Take care of your self.

(That's the kind of situation I go for my chocolate brioche fingers, not very nutritious, but no effort and better than nothing).

I can empathize. Many meals skipped in my life from being exhausted. Including a dinner or two in the past couple of weeks. Hopefully you sleep well. And I second MServant, take care of yourself!

You shouldn't skip meals in this bitter cold and that is also what is making you tired.

I generally keep high calorie snacks for such occasions and while chips are not nutritious, they provide the calories I need to fight the cold weather. I can drop 10 pounds in a week of bitterly cold weather.

I used to freeze peanut butter sandwiches for times I was too tired to make anything. . .I haven't done it in awhile and I should because otherwise I eat junk food. I wish I would lose weight in cold weather :tongue2:.

I keep granola bars on hand.  No matter how tired I am, I can always have herb tea and a granola bar.

We always have something in the freezer that we can throw into the microwave for those nights when I'm too pooped to pip (although going without dinner sometimes certainly wouldn't kill me).

The only thing I had that was frozen and could be microwaved to eat, was that gross chili I made a couple months ago in the pressure cooker.  I wasn't that hungry!  LOL

I had some pretzel sticks that I had left over from making nuts and bolts. Had about 20 or so and then was fast asleep before the news was over.  Slept all the way through until my alarm went off at 6 am today.  Didn't even have to get up to go to the bathroom.  So pretty much 12 hours uninterupted. Feeling loads better today, but another frigid day and another busy one at work.

If I could loose 10 pounds a week in frigid cold weather I would gladly take 4 or 5 weeks of it.  I think I actually have the opposite problem.

If I could lose weight like that I'd move to colder weather. And I HATE cold weather.

I can totally relate to just going to sleep over eating.

Natalie_ca, you take care of other people for a living, so make sure you take care of your self and eat before sleep tonight! You do not want to be on the other side of the fence so to speak, and if you're that tired your body is trying to tell you something. (Of course as I tell you this I am munching my way through a packet of Maltesers because I can't be bothered cooking anything....)

Yup, I've been that tired many times. Even putting something in the microwave can be too much work, and you're just too tired to even think about the effort it takes to eat something. I lost 10 pounds (that I really didn't have to spare, I'm a skinny chick) when I was working 16 hour days for a couple months. I was rewarded by still being broke, and being sick for 3 months after.

Same here. I always prefer sleep over anything else! My problem is that my brain doesn't tell me when I'm hungry or thirsty. I never get that feeling of hunger or thirst. I think it's related to stress. I'll go ALL DAY without eating or drinking anything until I realize, "Hey, I didn't have anything today." It's terrible. And then I feel like crap.
