I took Neffie to the vet yesterday for vaccine and he said she was a magnificent looking cat!! I'm a very proud cat Mummy!!!

I am really lucking out on an outfit for the wedding. I really thought that by the time I was done it would cost me hundreds of dollars. I found a pair of shoes yesterday for $10!

I had a message from HR at the hospital that I do my clinicals at for a new graduate nursing position, and for my favorite floor!  I'll call back Monday.  My last clinical was yesterday.  I'll miss that floor and the employees but I hope to return as an employee myself.

I went to a mom to mom sale this morning and got some great deals. I got 12 pieces of clothing for Aimee, a castle toy and a tricycle for $10. 

It was a nice day for a walk yesterday.

I had a lovely bagel for breakfast. And Tiny decided to play with his kickaroo toy rather than with my hands. I've been trying to re-train him for ages... *sigh*...

Well, l just found out l actually got that job that l blew the interview for. One of the bonuses of being an internal l guess, they know your work history.

So, l'll be going to night shift very soon as the sole Engineering person. Lots of responsibility. l'm not sure how l feel about it yet, l just heard, and l'm still in shock.

Okay, @Andrya   I just want to say congratulations.. ..lol.   I kind of thought you would get the job, because I had gotten one, a long time ago, where I also thought I blew the interview.  I was so nervous,  that when the manager asked for my date of birth, I had given the same year as the interview....lol.  He made a joke, asking "if I were born yesterday?"....Again, being so nervous, I did not get the joke, until he explained it.  Needless to say, I thought it was over,  but he liked the positive energy.....and also the fact that I had a friend working there who he knew.  So I ended up getting that job,in which I had trashed the interview.

Just try to enjoy it. Change is always difficult, and it takes time to adjust.

My positive for the past 24, is finally getting my desktop computer back....it turns out it was not the power supply...but rather the motherboard.  Hoping the next 24hrs are productive....

Wonderful!!! 

I kind of blew my interview yesterday with the nurse manager of the floor that I precepted on yesterday, but she talked as if I already had the job.  So, I'm not too worried.  And if there is anything that I have learned over the years, it's that the jobs that I had to fight to get were also the worst employments I ever had.  My employments in which I was "me" in the interview instead of giving perfectly canned responses were much better employments overall.  Maybe that's why I think I "blew" the interview.  It's hard for me to prepare for the "if you had a superpower, what would it be" type questions.  It doesn't help that I am such a goof IRL.

Thanks, you guys. l think you're both right - nerves and brain-freeze are likely expected at an interview and will be overlooked.

You know, I sometimes wonder if the interviewer is looking for how you react vs what you say. 

None of my kittens got outside as I feared yesterday!
My 6 year old daughter left the back door open... the dog went out and with my memory issues... I couldn't remember if they had been in my room and when exactly. I was so happy when the two popped up a few hours later.
I was thrilled to wake up with three happen kittens and one grumpy dog in our bed today!

Every time my 43 year old beautiful son comes I ask if he's still growing. Last tumr he said no mum. You're shrinking which I suppose is right at my age. Where will I end up. On the floor lol

Well, l went to sign on the dotted line and the raise wasn't close to what l expected, so l didn't sign. He said he'll see what he can do...   Pffft. 

Positive for today was that it's been gorgeous out. lt was supposed to rain all day again but we had sun and warmth.
