The weather was really nice out yesterday and my husband and I went out for a relaxing meal and had a few good laughs.
I need a dye job too!I'm getting my hair coloured today.
Pretty soon it will be. "Oh, there's that cool nurse!" .....lol
I started clinicals with my preceptor yesterday and she mentioned several times being very happy with my performance. One of patients, as we walked into the room at the end of my shift to give report to the nurse coming onto shift, her son said, "Oh there's the cool nursing student!" I blushed and was totally caught off guard, lol!
I sure hope so! I graduate in May, so not much longer. Only 9 more days (12+ hour days) total of clinical left. Of course I still have classes, exams, projects, etc.

How long are "clinicals" if you don't mind me asking.
When I was in the hospital as a kid, very short time, but I still remember the cool nurses I had. The mean ones, are now a blur....lol.
For some reason, I thought the "clinical part" would be the ending part of a nursing program, and all those exams, projects would have been over with. Your program sounds better in the sense that you do both clinical and then written again.I sure hope so! I graduate in May, so not much longer. Yeah we have clinicals, exams, and projects every semester. Each semester being progressively harder, of course. And thanks!

12+ hour days....whoah, no wonder some of them were cranky, back then. ..lol.
good luck then on your exams, but since that patient's comments said it all, I'm thinking you'll do well.
I hope your wrist improves soon. That's no fun.I did the weekly grocery shopping.
Got my month's load of meds.
I had physiotherapy this morning. I'm thankful all that's finished till the end of next week.
Ahh, @Tammat ...thanks for that mention of jig saw puzzle. I used to do them before, and they were a great way to relax but also focus. Mine were 500 or 1000pcs, and then I would glue them to cardboard and sort of keep them hanging for awhile.I made good progress on a jig saw puzzle today.
