Fascinated by how you make your own soy and almond milk! Impressive.
On the roster for today...
Visit the Royal Ontario Museum (for free, hooray!)
Get some groceries from Chinatown
Soak some soy beans and almonds to make milk tomorrow
It's amazingly easy! It just requires some forethought to get everything soaked and ready 10-12 hours beforehand. Beans + water + blender. Sift it, boil it, sweeten it (if desired), and store it for a week.

Sounds amazing, I presume almonds are raw, are the soy beans cooked in any way? Dried beans not fresh? Proportion of water to weight of almonds? I'd love to give this a try!

Of course! Let me know how it goes!
@pinkdagger thank you for all this information. It sounds amazing and I can't wait to try it out. I have piles of almonds just now that probably need using up so they can be my first experiment. Really looking forward to seeing how it tastes and what the texture is like. I'm thinking the almond sediment might be pretty good in porridge or oatmeal cerial.
Tomorrow (today after my sleep given it is now past midnight) my tasks should be
Work
Try making almond milk
Clean up mess from attempt at making almond milk.
