I changed the sheets- I said I was going to do that the other day and I didn't. I felt like I lied to my TCS friends. Sorry.
I washed towels because Cleo peed on the bath mat again and sheets.
Now I'm waiting for a parcel of feliway to arrive to help with the um. Bath mat situation. Poor Cleo she's a bit highly strung like me ;)
The picture is my first delphinium bloom. I have 11 in a row so in years to come they will be so pretty. I'm sure it was this thread we talked about them?
The delphinium is beautiful. I hope you don't pee on the bathroom mat as well!
Does felliway really work?

I feel for you about the dentist....you're not the only who is scared. Trust me.

Call, make the appointment, and go. It's important.
  • Must get through Monday at work (I hate Mondays; they should be declared illegal. But that would make Tuesdays Mondays then, and I'd be no further ahead. But geez, I hate Mondays)
  • Grocery shopping tonight and we have to take Rick's mom with us tonight, too. Which will turn a one-hour job into two hours. :sigh:
  • There are two loads of laundry separated and piled on the floor in the hallway. A load of sweatshirts is in the laundry basket. When I left for work this morning, I saw a buff-colored tail sticking out of the pile (Muffin was sound asleep; that girl just loves sacking out in sweatshirts. And when I see a tail or a paw sticking out of the pile of laundry the way it does, it always makes me smile. I love that girl. :heart3: )

Did the weekly grocery shopping.
Bought a new wrist bandage.
Took me out to a so so lunch.
And just put a wash on before bed.
I also moved the clocks to summertime. :'(
I hate the summer.

And I bet they were nice and dirty clothes, too! I remember when our son played football what his uniforms looked like.

Today.....

Run down to the store for cat food (we did get food on Monday, but since it's on sale, we want to stock up a bit)

I scooped boxes this morning

I think that's pretty much it.

His girlfriend then, now his wife with baby No. 4 on the way, was grossed out.
Question . If I make a banana cake does it have to be kept in the fridge? it's hot here

Today I went for a driving lesson. With my husband learning how to drive a manual
I also made cupcakes and walked in the park /:3
I remember how it went when I learned how to drive a manual tranny. Now, I love it and would much rather drive manual than an automatic. Good luck to you.

Since, it's hot there, yes, I'd keep the cake in the fridge.

Rick is working OT this morning....he was up at 3:30 (which meant that I was up at 3:30, too.....and I'm wide awake, so I stayed up). When he gets back home, we will:
  • Run some errands: bank, coffee shop (I have one k-cup in the house), natural foods store, Lowes
  • Run up to a landscaping place for a large clay stone. I came home from work yesterday and the lion fountain out by the pool had fallen through the pool fence. The ground is very, very soft in that area and the whole fountain keeled over. We need to level out the area and put the clay stone down. Then we can put the fountain on top of the stone. I don't know that I can help with it. The fountain is solid cement and that thing is heavy. I may have to call my BIL to come down and help move it around. (I call it a lion fountain because at one of the levels, the water comes out through four lions' heads.) We've had the fountain there for about 3 years now and it's never moved. We checked the water level in the pool, thinking that maybe the pool was leaking, but it appears to be OK. Maybe the soft ground is just from all the snow melting. I hope that's all it is. We're a little worried about frozen water pipes bursting in the pool, although we closed the pool properly last fall. But this winter was really, really cold, and temps were well below freezing.
  • Rick has promised me that he will put the new hose on the Dyson vacuum this afternoon.

It's Sunday here:
I vacuumed, and changed the sheets on one bed. Also found 2 Cleo wees. Oh man. I think she doesn't like my husband. He'll have to go!!! Only joking.

I'm at the swimming pool with my kids. I promised I would bring them

When I get home I'll finish the vacuuming and change the sheets on the other beds.

Work on laundry....change bed sheets and wash them, too. I'm just putting them back on the bed when they're dry.

Rick is taking his mom to church; while he's gone, I will vacuum and dust a bit. Rick put the new hose on the Dyson. I have my vacuum back!
Take that, stupid Hoover!

And finish The Drums of Autumn this afternoon. I'm on page 763 (out of 1046), so I still have a way to go. I'd like to start The Fiery Cross tonight.....I have 3 more days.

Vulunteer stint at one of the local charity shops for the afternoon.

Did a load of laundry and got it hung up to dry.

Met a young couple from Italy who are looking for a place to stay for a few weeks, volunteering with the same organisation as I do.  Cat lovers, and Mouse seemed happy and relaxed with them so looks like they will move in in a couple of weeks time - when my current guest goes back home.

Make chocolate chip cookie batter (Dear Richard is leaving for his bowling things at States on Friday and he's asked me to make him some chocolate chip cookies to take along) I will make the batter tonight and bake them tomorrow night. I put the butter in the microwave this morning, so that it softens by tonight...I can't just leave it out on the kitchen counter because the cats will eat it.

Scoop, scoop, scoop

On page 608 of The Fiery Cross....must finish it tonight, so it's going to be a late night.
