Apply for a couple of work at home jobs.

Make a cheesecake.

Sit on pins and needles refreshing my school portal page until my $3,000 shows up. *_*

Work

Viewed an apartment my mom is thinking about buying

Claw clipping - as a follow on from L Lysine and tooth paste.  Mouse was not amused and stood in the hall waiting for me to throw him Thrive fish snacks as an apology for the shortened claws.

  • Run errands when I get home from work: Target, Lowes, etc.
  • I have two loads of laundry to do tonight (or tomorrow morning while Rick is working)
  • Baking macadamia nut cookies and chocolate chip cookies for a picnic on Saturday night
ETA: Just finished baking the cookies. Both are seriously good and they're both new recipes. I hadn't tried them before. The chocolate chip recipe calls for a box of instant vanilla pudding mix. The only pudding mix I had in the pantry was French vanilla, so I threw that in. Really good. The macadamia nut cookies also have vanilla chips. They're a little sweet for me, but dear Richard loves them. My sister and BIL stopped in on their way down to Lowes and they took a bag of cookies with them....they like both of the recipes, too.

Well, we're going to take a walk through town this morning after Rick comes home from working OT:

Coffee shop - I have no k-cups in the house and must re-stock

Local hardware - they have some kind of a house siding cleaner on sale and Rick wants to look. Also want to check for onion sets

Liquor Store - another attempt to find Mike's Hard Margaritas (grocery store doesn't carry it)

B & N - I bought a cover for my new Nook, but it was a Change-a-Cover, something like that,  and it's not what I want, so will return. I'm going to ask them to please put an anti-glare cover on the Nook because I tried.....and failed. Miserably.

Barn place - there's a guy right outside of town who makes garden/storage sheds and small barns. We're going to take a gander and see how much they cost

And then on to Lowes for a new fridge filter (I can't believe we've had this fridge six months already.

PetSmart to use my 15% off coupon for cat food and litter

I need to make cheddar-stuffed mushrooms for a picnic dinner tonight.

Did the cat rooms.  Did it early and was not to bad/hot so worked out well.

Need to go to Walmart for lancets.

Get rest of cat wash done.  Never realize just HOW much blankets and beds they have till you wash it all in one day.

took a nap (i finished stacking the last of 10 face cords of firewood yesterday, it took all day, so i'm very tired today).

called my mom who is recovering from hip surgery (partial replacement) and is starting physical therapy.

set up with my phone service provider for a tech to come out and fix my phone problem.

also, roofer called back to set up coming out on monday morning to figure out why the new roof (3-4 months old) has been leaking. it's a metal roof and has guarantees and warranties galore, so they'll make the roof right and make sure the ceiling damage is fixed -- at no cost to me.

Mickandsnicks2mom, I hope your mother is feeling Ok from her hip surgery.

Pinkdagger, that ice cream looks yummy!

Tammat, a belated Happy Birthday to your daughter!
  • Wash the cars (I swear the birds have been using the cars as their personal bathrooms! There's poop all over them! And yet, Rick's truck sits there, immaculate. Not fair.
I hate cleaning bird poop. Although Rick will have to clean their roofs because I can't reach them.)
  • We found onion sets yesterday and I bought two packs of 80. They were on sale for 50 cents a pack. I figured, well, give them a try; it's better than nothing. It might be too late for them, but for $1.00, I'll try them. And if they do grow, we will have a lot of onions! So must plant onions this afternoon.
  • Two loads of laundry: bed sheets and a load of whites

Today I am going to

Do my usual charity shop voluntary stint for a few hours.

Landry - as usual

Run off some of Mouse's energy with lots of toy chasing - he has been very bouncy and entertaining since yesterday.

Since looking at that icce cream @pinkdagger  made I will also be dreaming of that.

(I bought some amazing coffee and cobnut ice cream yesterday so guess I'll have to make do with that one....)

My poor little Tweety-chicken has an abdominocentesis appointment in about an hour..

Will likely do some rigging today.

Hopefully a bit of sculpting too.
