Have fun!!!! Mexican and Margarita's AND guacamole with chips???!!!

1. Must be the day to clean/scrub litter boxes.
2. Transported a couple of feral kitties to vet for neuter's from the shelter to the vet.
3. BRUSHED shedding kitties !!!!!
I wish! It was Chinese....my sister always wants Chinese for her birthday.

Hair appointment tonight -- But I may re-schedule because I'm sick and I hate to go around there when I'm sick (she has a very young baby). Still contagious, too, as I'm only at the sore throat stage and stuffy nose stage. It's a cold that dear Richard has and he decided to share it.

And that's it. When I get out of work, I'd really like to just go home and go to bed.

We got the yard mowed yesterday, so that's out of the way.

For today:
  • I have the second load of laundry in the dryer. That's pretty much it for laundry today. I want to change bed sheets tomorrow.
  • Work outside in the garden today. Get the fence up and get the stuff planted.
  • Work on some weeding around the beds.

Did my afternoon shift at the local charity store.

Came home and did a load of laundry and got it hung up to dry.

Sorted out the cupboard and ironing basket in my bedroom and found a few things to take dowm the charity shops next time I go past them.

Met a friend at a local cafe and chatted over a couple of cups of coffee.

Did 2 loads of laundry and got them hung up to dry.

Sorted through a pile of paperwork and got rid of out of date stuff.

I scooped boxes this morning; the boxes were neglected the past day or so because we've been so busy being outside. I did a thorough scooping and cleaning to make up for not doing them yesterday.

The weather-weenies are calling for rain and t-storms this afternoon into tonight. If it's raining, we'll grab a few groceries. If it's not raining, we'll work outside.

And if it's raining, then I need to vacuum and dust a bit.

Do some sculpting

Do some drawing. My classmate bailed on me after tripping and injuring himself (somehow to a degree that prevents him from standing or walking all day -_-), and I'm afraid to go to that end of town alone so I have no one to hit the museum or life drawing with

Make some food... probably macaroni salad and mini Oreo-based cheesecakes. Hopefully the weather will stay nice tomorrow and I can go on a lakefront picnic!

Had my hair cut

Wandered around clothes shops but didn't buy anything

Came home and cleaned the bathroom, then washed the bathmats.

Went to store for meat for cat who is having blood sugar issues.  He got into dry food and it should be temporary but the worry has me very upset.

Have to look at a water leak later that has stained the ceiling.  Have feeling it is going to be pretty bad.  Best we can do at moment is put something to catch any new water until it can get repaired in few weeks.

Change the beds out in cats rooms

Trash night tonight -- must clean the litter boxes

If it's not raining, work in the garden (we had t-storms last night and it looks like rain is in the forecast for much of the day today, too)

That's pretty much it for tonight

  • Verizon store: I kept getting notices to upgrade my Droid Razr Maxx HD to the new KitKat system, so I finally did yesterday. What a mistake that was! Do NOT upgrade, if you haven't done so already! Motorola tried to make it more like an iPhone, I guess. But if I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought an iPhone! I don't even like them!)  I can't answer my phone now. It rings and rings, and no matter what I do, what button I press, no matter how I yell at it, I can't answer it. Now people are calling Rick's phone to reach me; and, of course, he had no trouble with his upgrade, although he thinks it was stupid, too. There are other idiotic things with the upgrade, too. They took my really great phone....and trashed it. It's all black and white, which makes everything harder to see. The notification light is white (I actually kind of liked my green light). It's all crap. If I could uninstall it, I would. I hope Verizon can help me to at least answer my phone.
  • Plant the flowers tonight. We got the garden done, but still need to get our flowers in the ground.
  • Two loads of laundry....it's sorted on the hallway floor for tonight.

My Bionic is probably old enough that I won't get that update notification, but good to know!  I'd call them and see what they can do over the phone (they've fixed my initialization over the phone before), or worse, go to the store.  What a pain, I'm sorry Winchester.

Took me long enough, but I figured it out. Had my co-worker call me and got it to work. But geez, what a pain. That update is horrid. Now I need to figure out how to connect to WiFi, or I might end up going over my data minutes. I think it's connected, but then it still tells me to connect.
 I am not amused.

@Winchester  and @peaches08   I knew there were some really good reasons I've stuck to a basic phone not using any smart features / aps or anything!  I can hardly make sense of the posts here never mind a phone that's struggling to work after updating!    It is horrible how instantly dependent I get with any technology I start to use but have zero understanding or ability to fix when it develops 'issues'.   Scary.   I hope you get it all sorted out soon Wincheser.

Today I

Scopped poop.

Walked to work and back, and did a pile of running about and physical stuff all day while I was there so had a good 'work out'.

Phoned my mum for a chat about an apartment that's just gone on sale and looks like it might be suitable for her to move to.

@MServant I will frisk myself to find my phone.  My computer, please don't get me wrong, I love it and don't want anything to happen to it especially as I'm preparing for boards.  But I can't live without my phone.

Haha - I'm like the opposite. I had a brick phone for a few years in my childhood (my uncle got a bunch for us kids when we were like 9 years old.. never used it), and then a flip phone for several years in university because I never saw a need for a cell in high school. I only switched to an old smart phone this past September because my aunt gifted it to my parents and they found it too small to use to play games and stuff. I find it inconvenient because smart phones don't fit in girl pant pockets, and some jacket pockets, and I hate carrying a bag or purse. I leave my phone in the other room all the time, and I always forget it when I go out. It's been such a hassle to bring it all the way into this room lately in case the jobs I applied for call me. :p Everyone I talk to knows it's easier to get a hold of me on Facebook or Skype than it is to call or text.

Today, I:

- grocery shopped

- did some figure drawing

- went on a furious and unsuccessful search for a Canadian online pet food store that had the brands I want for a reasonable price :(

Will hopefully add to that list some digital sculpting, as the program has been open for several hours but I have yet to touch it...
