Well done!

I'm up a little over half a pound as of this morning. I'm not shocked. There were way too many parties, restaurant meals, etc over the past week. Yesterday was actually up almost three pounds, but one day of normal eating got rid of some of the excess.
I know I am just a broken record, but if you do a 7 day average, you will get a more accurate view of what your weight really is.  You might actually be down a bit :)

I am so happy for those of you who are winning this!

I had a good week. I lost 1.9 kg, about 4 pounds. I took @Pat
's advice and went out with my friends, having tea or coffee and water. It was totally new for me, as I probably was the one who drank most (beer, that is). But it was fine. I enjoyed my tea and their company.

I had an urge last week to buy shrimps and trout (frozen) so I asked my nutritionist to put me on a fish diet this week. Must be my body trying to tell me something,  as I wouldn't normally eat fish if given other options.

@Tammat
: why aren't you training this week? You don't want to or you can't?
I train for 6 weeks and then I have a weeks rest. I have a trainer so I do what he says :D

Well done. That certainly is a good week.

AbbysMom AbbysMom next week is a new week. You have been walking lots so that deserves a

rachelinaz rachelinaz a big hug to you :hugs: it's not easy, sometimes it's plain awful but we are worth it.

I am up 2# from a month ago. I go up so many pounds and then down. I never get out of this vicious loop. I wanted to cry today.
I do the same thing. I have an app that makes a chart of my weight loss. It looks like a roller coaster. Yesterday I splurged on a huge dessert and today my weight is down. I don't know what is going on, but my DH thinks that adding a few splurge days each month will help. It seems that when my weight loss stalls, eating more one day jump starts it again. Although I'm also up from a month ago. We'll see what happens next month.

Would you please tell me the name of your app? Thank you.

Ages since I've been here!  I'm taking the slowly-slowly approach as I'm doing it as a life-style thing.. I'll keep on eating this way if I can.

So, in the past two months I've only lost 5 kilos (11 pounds), but I'm really happy with that.  And it's all going down, just in tiny bits.

I lost 500gm this week. That's a little over a pound. It's 7 weeks since I last ate sugar. I thought I had reached my goal weight but actually I need to lose a bit more yet I'm not sure how much? I will know once I'm there. Without sugar I can do this.

Good luck to the rest of you;)

Congratulations to the "losers"! Way to go, ladies!

I've lost 3 pounds since last Monday. (I think it would have been a little more than that, but the weekends kill me every time.)

The app I use is MyFitnesspal. They have a website and an app and they're connected. You enter your foods and it tracks your calcium, fat, vitamin, (etc) and calorie intake. It also helps you set a calorie goal. I believe it lets you choose pounds, kg or stone also.

I love MFP! It's such a good guide... I would never use it as a hard and fast rule (especially since they expect you to re-eat the calories you burnt with the exercises you enter, and those calories are usually pretty generous) but it's GREAT to be able to keep a convenient, online diary like that. If you share your diary with friends, there's a greater sense of responsibility because you want to keep it updated for them and you want to look good for them! The community is so supportive too. Even if it's just for logging in for 30 days straight, I get people commenting to keep up the good work.

What's your MFP, @petcrazy76? Mayhaps I'll add you and get back into tracking. I lose interest when my friends stop logging in and tracking, but I get back into it when I find a new friend.

I use MFP, too! I had given it up the last two months because of my foot issues (and boy, my waistline knows it), but started back in this morning. I have MFP connected to my FitBit, too.

I had even given up on my poor FitBit, but got that out of the desk drawer and am charging it up on my computer now. I'll start wearing it again tomorrow (Tuesday).

Very nice!  You can solve those weekends - just plan your menu ahead if possible..include weekend type meals (aka grilled stuff..lol).

Another slow week but still it's a loss.  I lost .87 of a pound.  I'm hanging on to those 190s by my fingernails..darn it...lol.  My new weight by average is 190.16.  I just want to see an average that starts with a 18 by the end of this month.  I think I'll make it ;-)

I too use MFP though I ignore their attempts to reset my daily calorie limit - I chose a number and I stick to that...so long as I'm still losing while eating it, I'm not going to change it.

Good work everybody.
I'm a MFP user too. I don't share though. I just use it to keep myself in line. Since quitting sugar I no longer binge so I am able to get a better idea of how many calories I actually need. I'm still making little changes for the better all the time but I'm also trying to make the changes comfortable so I can keep them for life. I can't feel hungry forever that just makes me feel miserable.

Keep going. We are doing this:D

I don't really know how much I lost this past week, because the "official" scale broke down (the one at my nutritionist)
This really amuses me. My scale showed a 2 pounds loss, so I'll go with that.

On one hand I am starting to get the hang of this, I mean I am starting to see what works (for a few weeks my nutritionist put me on different diets/dieting styles to see what works better) and I am starting to understand how I should eat for the rest of my life. I used to have dinner the biggest meal of the day, and then I was asleep in half an hour. I am starting to make peace with the salad and small portion of protein I am eating now 4 hours before I go to sleep. But on the other hand, I am sad that I will not be able to eat chocolate cake, and pizza and McDonald's without suffering the consequences. I mean I know in the long run a slice of pizza won't kill me, but I do not want to eat a slice of pizza. I want to eat a whole pizza with wedges on the side, and then some icecream and beer. And I know I have a sick relationship with food (as I love it too much), but it's only more frustrating that my mother is 30 pounds lighter than me and she never craves anything.

Sorry for the rant/confessions. I am still trying to understand that I am not dieting, I am just eating as I should. Forever.

I actually lost weight last week. First time in awhile. Over a pound too. So excited about that.
