Good luck, Peaches....I hope you can find a way to run through your clinicals. I can't imagine having to deal with heartburn when you're running.

Tammat, it's just what I do. I don't even think about it anymore. The good thing about it is that Rick says I have nice legs!

3 miles (43 minutes) on the elliptical this morning.

2 miles (40 minutes) walking during lunch -- and then the skies opened

Ran 20 + 9 min = 29 min. I couldn't walk after clinical yesterday, my feet and ankles were hurting too badly. I'm probably not going to get a lot of runs or walks in this week but that's OK. If things work out as planned, this will be the only week like that. I sweat during clinical, maybe I can consider it cross training, lol!

Got out and ran 15 min on the streets closest to my house that are better lit.  It was better than laying in my bed pouting about missing a run altogether.

Nice legs Winchester? They must be killer. You deserve them!

Good work Peaches. You are so dedicated. Woo! Woo!

My next goal is to get killer arms. Tonight I did 20 mins on the elliptical then 25 push ups then I did 5 min intervals on the elliptical up to 40 mins with 25 push ups in between.  Yikes the push ups were killer- there was some collapsing involved but I did it.

There you go! Anything is better than nothing.

I wish they were killer, Tammat! But no.I would love to have killer arms. I keep doing exercises with dumbbells for them, but not often enough for any changes. Collapsing?
(sorry, couldn't help it....there would be collapsing involved here, too)

I've been MIA, but I did walk a little over 3-1/4 miles yesterday. I'll try to get back out there today. :)

 Good job, Karen!

I don't think I'm going to have time to get anything done today. Will try for something, even if it's just one mile. But can make no promises.

It's really a hassle sometimes, trying to find time for walking....I know how silly that sounds, but it's the truth. I do well during the week, but come the weekend and there's always so much going on.

I didn't do anything yesterday, Pam. I had errands to do and planned to walk later in the day. It looked gorgeous out, bright and sunny. I walked outside and the cold biting wind hit and went right through me. I honestly could not believe how bad it was. My first clue should have been that there was no one out on the golf course next door and they are always out there. My hair looked like Medusa by the time I got back home.

I didn't want to use the exercise bike because Aaron has been hacking up a storm in that room and I would have had to disinfect everything.

Rain and snow coming later and I am going to try to get out there beforehand.

Go girls go!!!
I ran 55 mins today. Around the lake twice. I'm resting tomorrow (mon) then I start with Rohan on Tuesday. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Of course you guys will be the first to hear how it goes.
Keep going everybody.

We lucked out with the rain yesterday. It was a beautiful day, nice and warm, but with a very blustery wind. I could handle a few more days like that, sans the wind.

Wishing you the very best of luck with Rohan, Tammat!

3.50 miles (66 minutes) on the treadmill this morning

Awesome, ladies!  I didn't do anything yesterday but clinical, and that was physically trying all on it's own.  Today I have off so I ran 20 + 9 = 29 min.

I almost completely lost my new habit of exercise..but got on my exercise bike yesterday for 27 minutes and *will* get on it again today, for at least making 2x of exercise this week.  Despite the lack of exercise, I'm having a whoosh week with my weight, so I can't complain.

Ran a little further and a little faster today, 20 + 9:30 = 29:30 min and 2.6 mi.

Great job Pat!  Sometimes rest is a good thing.

Good work everyone.

I have just got home from my first personal training session. I am still shaking!! I was so nervous going there, taking deep breaths in the car. He just went over lots of different exercises in a circuit to see what I can do and if I do them correctly.  I am booked in for Friday again and that will be the real deal. The sooner I can feel relaxed the better. I'm so glad to have pushed myself out of my comfort zone though. Its going to be worth it

I both did some gardening (weeding) and 30 minutes on my exercise bike today.
