Ralph and Gabby gobbled the pill pocket with 1/4 Pepcid right along with their other treats.  Pill Pockets made by Greenies -- what a godsend!  My daughter who nursed "Spencer" through a multitude of illnesses recommended them and I am so glad she did!

Welcome to The Cat Site, and glad Pill Pockets worked for you.
Ritz cannot be pilled, she hate hates hated it. I tried coating the pill in butter and/or cream cheese and then putting it in a pill pocket. I even tried putting the pill in the middle of a hot dog. Loved the butter, cream cheese and hot dog. Didn't touch the pill :lol3:
What works for me when I have to give Ritz medicine (usually for a UTI or upset stomach) is to get the medication made into a flavored liquid. If the medication can be prescribed for humans, any pharmacist can do this. Ritz likes tuna/chicken flavor and even bubblegum!
If the medication is for animal use only, sometimes the pharmacist can formulate the drug into a flavored liquid. It depends on the laws in your state, the vet and of course the drug itself.
Do Ralph and Gabby have stomach issues - Pepcid is often recommened for acid ingestion, yeah, four legged people get heart burn too!

Welcome to the site!  I love pill pockets to an extent.  I only have 2 kitties who will eat them if they have pills in them.  I use the dog Chicken flavored ones as they are more pliable.  I do however wrap DeeJay's pills in them and then just drop them down her throat.  But Mercedes will eat them (and has stolen a couple of DeeJay's pills) without any hesitations.
