I've started eating cottage cheese before bed. It's very unpleasant tasting!!! Strawberry dream cake would be much yummier.
What does cottage cheese before bed do for you? I assume it's not a snack if it's not tasty, lol.

Just had a toasted chicken bacon + spinach + marble cheddar sandwich with cream cheese and onions.

More of that dratted cake
You are not the only one who cannot resist cake.

I'd certainly go for cake before cottage cheese!
Last time I ate cottage cheese I defeated the purpose by mixing in a large spoonful of lemon curd to make it taste better (which it did of course but by then it had a tonne of sugar in it and a zillion more calories).

I just had some raspberry sorbet followed by half a pack of Maltesers (good for me as it wasn't the whole lot).  Chilli con carne and boiled rice all set for evening meal later on.

I just ate 2 boiled eggs.
The reason I am eating cottage cheese before bed is that I'm learning body building these days. Cottage cheese contains a slow release protein called casein. While you sleep your muscles repair themselves and grow bigger. The casein feeds the muscles. I'm beginning to think it actually helps me get a better nights sleep. Each night it tastes a little bit better so maybe it will eventually taste good!!!

Ancient grain toast with cream cheese, scrambled eggs with onion, spinach, cheddar, hot chili oil, and parm. We're out of milk to make oatmeal so I've "resorted" to this for breakfast.
When you say ancient grain toast do you mean old or is that. Its name?

Subway cold cut combo.  I'm not hypertensive but my blood pressure is going to skyrocket from all that sodium...but gosh it was good!

l had a fry up, including Johnsonville Buffalo/cheese smoked sausages

These are without a doubt the best sausages l've ever eaten. And l grew up in Cumbria where the Cumberland sausage is known for its deliciousness.

Oh wow, super neat to know!

That's what they named that bread because it has specific grains in it that are in the "ancient grain" category. I'm not sure if they actually are ancient (as in, having existed a long time ago), but apparently quite a few of them are gluten-free for celiacs and such.

I just finished cleaning, so I treated myself to an Oreo-crust pistachio pie topped with whipped cream!

Pork meatballs with fennel and tomato sauce and a little sliced boiled potato.  Followed by a small scoop of very creamy coffee ice cream.

And you deserved it.
Thank you for your explanation.
