We had bbq chicken, caesar salad, corn, potatoes and bread. I didn't like the salad and I didn't have any potatoes.

Tammat, did you like it?

Well, we had grilled burgers, the rest of the crock pot beans, cookies, and chips and guacamole for dinner today. We had dinner with our kids after our grandson's flag football game. I know we had the pretty much the same dinner on Saturday, but it was fine. We had a good time with the grandchildren.

We just finished dinner. The bolognaise sauce was yummo. I had two helpings plus a little extra as I cleaned the kitchen!! My husband does not like bolognaise. He dreads having to eat it but he loved this one  Thankyou..

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it, Tammat.
It can be a lot of work if you make your own sauce. But it's good anyway even with store-bought sauce.

Probably pizza tonight. It's not delivery....it's Dijiorno.

I make DiGiorno too but I gussy it up with more mushrooms, more olives, sometimes salami, more mozzarella cheese and then bake it. I buy the deluxe with two pizzas in the box and bake both of them. I hate shopping so I get everything in bulk and I live by myself with my 3 cats. (What would I do without a freezer?) Then I cut the pizza into slices, put each slice into a small freezer bag and in the deep freeze they go (after I have indulged in at least one freshly baked slice, the slices are so loaded that I usually can eat just one). Then when I want pizza I just take one bagged slice out of the freezer, pop it into the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes and voila! pizza for one, a glass of wine on the side and maybe a small salad --- mmmh!

Kale and cabbage casserole with vegetarian Italian flavoured ground "tofu meat", rice, marble cheddar and parm. It's in the oven now. I'm excited!

I altered this recipe.

You must never have had a good pizza. All those pizza joints like Domino's, Pizza Hut, Shakey's etc really don't have good pizza, crust is ready made, they slop some cheap tomato sauce on it, some cheese and call it pizza. That's how the poor people in Naples, Italy eat it but we don't eat peasant food. Here the dough is freshly made, brushed with olive oil, marinara sauce, peppers, tomato slices, chopped onions, olives, sliced mushrooms, meat of your choice (Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami etc) if you are not a vegetarian and lots of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Hawaiian style pizza has ham and pineapple on it. Crust should come out puffed and crispy. DiGiorno makes a really good pizza but you can make your own with a yeast dough and then top it as described. Try it, you might get to like pizza after all.

I completely agree! My gauge for a good pizza is whether or not it's good the next day too. My brother took me to a pizza place that does thin crust, and it's beyond delicious. All fresh ingredients and made on-site, and the following day, or even two, it still tastes GREAT and the crust is still good. It doesn't go stale or soggy or anything. It tastes like I just bought it.

I don't live in America and you're probably right. We do get them with all sorts of toppings. I heard of apparently a better pizza than you can get I am Italy, in Jerusalem but I'm not going there for a pizza. My family like Domino's. I have something else. Chicken wings and corn on the cob or/and a salad.
I suppose I'll never get to eat a good one. Oh well. That's life. But thank for describing how a good one should be.

I cooked the most horrible fish. At the last minute I drove to the supermarket and bought some cold meat. The fish didn't get eaten.
