Wednesday's Question of the Day: What if...

...you had a beautiful singing voice and were going to perform a concert in front of thousands of people, what song would you choose to sing?

I'd choose a Nick Cave song, probably He Wants You or Darker With the Day. Wouldn't really show off my "wonderful" singing voice but that's what I'd like to sing.

I wish I had a lovely singing voice! My cats like to hear me sing,though. I often fire up a song on the pc, and sing along, and they seem to find it relaxing. Note to self: make that vet's appointment to get their hearing checked...

I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. I wish I could, though!

I would choose Imagine by John Lennon, my favorite Beatle.  I have always loved that song.

What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.  But I'm with you, peaches08.  And unlike MargeCat, I don't think even my cats enjoy my singing.  Not that that stops me, though.  

I wish I could sing. If I could and were in a competition, I would sing either House of the Rising Sun  or Mad World. 

Hard choice but maybe Memory from Cats or I Will Go with You if I'm being dramatic but Last Dance or When Love Takes over if I'm in a fun mood

Tetris? Seriously? Do you know how much I love the music to Tetris? Or are we speaking of two different things?

Yes, Tetris the game. It is a pretty awesome song. Lol Part of it is talking about arranging the blocks in Tetris and the rest is about the Soviet Union.

I have been thinking about this. Probably either the tenor part of Beethoven's Symphony #9, fourth movement, or the tenor solo from The Barber of Seville.

I think I might sing Danny Boy.  I love that song.

I would sing the hymn Amazing Grace.
