Is she albino? She's three years old, I got her from a shelter. Don't bother putting albino animals only have pink eyes. They don't. Kim posting on here because I'm not sure. Her names sugar.

She looks like a pretty white domestic short hair. No special breed.  So far as being albino, likely not.  Just because a cat has white fur, doesn't mean they are albino; some cats just have white fur.

She sure is a pretty girl and the name Sugar looks like it suits her. Thank you for adopting her. I'm so glad she found a forever home! Post more pictures when you get the chance and let us know how she's getting along in her new home.

The majority of albinos have pink eyes and really pink skin.  I do not think your kitty is an albino.

You are right  that not all albinos have pink / red eyes;  there are also some blue eyed albinos ( genetic ca/ca)  , but they are VERY rare,  far  more rare than the pink eyed albinos ( genetic  c/c) which are pretty rare themselves.

There is a far more usual way for a cat to be all white  --  it's from a gene called Dominant White (W).  It doesn't mean the cat is albino,  it's just that the cat gets a white coat .

It's actually a GOOD thing if she is not albino,  because full albino animals often have some health problems.    And the blue eyed albino gene is so rare -- and it has to come from both parents to take effect,  so that if she were one,   it might be because of a lot of inbreeding in her family history.   and that's not so good either.

Hopefully Sugar is  a beautiful white kitty who is white by the more normal way.
