do male cats have wet dreams?

I have a male cat who is around 6-7 months old. He is an indoor un-neutered cat. Something i noticed today, while he was in a deep sleep with his back resting on the bed i saw his pink penis sticking out :/ and there was a white droplet near the penis on his sack. I don't know if that was urine or semen :S i wiped it with a warm wet cloth and his penis retracted instantly and all this time he kept sleeping and didn't wake up. Is that normal? Should i be worried? :S

It doesn't sound like anything abnormal, he is becoming sexually mature, he is at the right age.

This means he is about to be ruled by his hormones and instinctual drive to mate.

He needs to be neutered asap.

If he is not neutered very soon, he will begin to spray and constantly attempt to escape, which he will eventually do.

He will have no desire to come home, he will begin to get into fights with other unfixed males, he will impregnate females and make unwanted babies.

Nothing good will come of it if he is not neutered right away.

I'll get him neutered after the holidays. Something else i noticed after i posted the thread. Hes having trouble in climbing beds, couches and other things even the low ones. He used to climb all around the house without any difficulty and on places as high as 4-5 feet. Don't know whats wrong with him looks like hes having some sort of pain in his rear area. He has also been licking his genitals a lot lately since a few days. But he is peeing and pooping just fine. Can this be a symptom of an obstruction in the unitary tract or cyrstals or mucus?? I am so worried right now as tomorrow is a public holiday and there are no 24/7 vets or emergency vets in the country/city where i live. Can someone please help me? and should i move this thread to the health section

At his young age there is no reason at all why he would suddenly have trouble jumping.

This is cause to suspect something is wrong, he should definitely be seen by a vet asap.

He may have a bladder infection or some other type of infection, and this wouldn't be something to wait on as it can be very dangerous for him to wait. If he has a blockage or crystals built up, it can take his life quickly.

Can you find a vet to see him today?

No i can't that is why i am being so desperate for health. I live in Pakistan and today was a holiday too. We don't have vets as good as in other countries and they remain closed on holidays. I have been so worried the whole day. We really love him and hes part of our family so everyone has been feeling really anxious. I suspect an infection maybe as there are no other syptoms such as bleeding, improper defacation or no urination but then i can never be sure. Hes a very playful and energetic fellow and despite his pain he has been playing around the house but has not jumped on the couch or anywhere and has been a little down. He tried once and fell. And the other time he tried he did climb but the climb was very slow compared to his previous ways. Its 1.33am and i can't even sleep tried calling the vet i usually go to but his phone was switched. The wait is killing me. Please pray for his health!

So it sounds like youre saying no vet until Thursday morning correct? There are no vets open anywhere, even an after hours emergency vet?

I have to say, that if things go downhill before then, maybe if you found an open vet somewhere else, even far away, in case that happens. It's so hard to know.

But in case, maybe there is one somewhere in another city?

Maybe there's not too, I understand you are in Pakistan.

What do you normally feed him? Do you have canned food you can feed him until he can go?

This will help give him extra water in his system, as well as be digested alot easier.

Yes i mean no vet until thursday i will wake up early morning and will call all the vets in the city to know if anyone is opening for the day but the chances are very very low. We dont have a very good healthcare system for animals in my country and at times like these i wish i lived somewhere else i feed him mutton, beef and chicken alternating them every now and then. He doesn't like canned food very much. He'll eat but not as enthusiastically though i have tried switching him to canned food thrice but everytime he'll get loose stool and then i'd quit doing it. I used to feed him raw but now i prepare his food at home to avoid any cons of raw food. Even though i still think raw was better as he loves raw food and also because i think that was healthier. He did eat his food today and has been drinking water too. You won't believe it when i say a public holiday which in Pakistan means everything will remain close even almost all the shops >_

It definitely sounds alarming.  I would try to get him into a vet ASAP.  I wish you luck in finding a vet who is open.
