weird rash/red spots on my cats nose

HELP!! My cat had had this weird rash looking thing on his nose for what i know of about 3 days (could be longer), and i am very worried. I haven't taken him to a vet because i thought it might go away, but it hasn't. Has anyone had a similar problem? should i take him to the vet? some information would be much appreciated, thank you.

PS: it may look so, but i am bot choking my cat in the photo, just holding his head up

What ever it is it needs a vet's diagnosis and treatment.  Some types of "rashes" are known to spread. Regardless it will certainly benefit from treatment.

It looks very sore and could be a number of things all of which need a proper diagnoses.  I think your cat needs to see a vet as soon as possible, you do not want this to get worse and more painful for him.

it also looks like fur shed of the nose :<   but cheer up he * or she* will be better soon
