My precious Maya .

We found out last night our precious little 5 year old girl Maya's journey is ending. I am devastated and cant stop crying. When I look at her face and know I will no longer get kisses from her at bedtime, it break my heart. We are praying she hold on until Monday so her remains wont have to stay at the clinic all weekend. She is on her favorite blanket snuggling with her brother and I am so worried how he will cope when she is gone.

I am so sorry.  I remember your post in the health forum about possible FIP.  FIP is such a cruel disease, nothing can be done to prevent it and nothing can be done to cure it.  May her passing being peaceful.

My heart goes out to you.  I wish there were words to make it easier but I know there aren't any.  You're all in my thoughts today.

May she spend her last days in peace with her loving family. Sometimes even knowing what is to come doesn't make it any easier to bear.

I'm so sorry for your pain, but I rejoice that you are strong enough to help your Maya find peace and comfort in her crossing the bridge. We have to remember that they would never want us to remember them with such pain, as we would not want our passing to bring pain to our loved ones. Hold her in your heart and remember the love you shared, not the pain. Bless you for loving so much, let us try to share your pain. RIP beautiful Maya!
