Playing predator and prey

My BF figured out a game that Oliver likes to play. We call it Predator and Prey. If I'm in another room or another part of a room than Oliver, I can poke my head from behind something and wait until he sees me. He'll make a face sort of like this: O_O Then I'll duck down real fast, move one direction or the other just a bit, then poke my head out again until he sees me. That's usually when he sits up while making the O_O face. I do this just a few times before he stealthily runs over to where I am while my head is ducked down and gets right in my face without me even realizing he left whatever spot he was in. 

It's the cutest thing! Maybe this is a regular thing cat owners do with their cats... I don't know, but it's super fun!

I call that "Peek" and frequently play it with my kitties. 

My RB kitty Chynna also loved to play Peek and Chase or Hide and Seek. I would do the Peek, and then run off and hide.  She would wait for me to do the Peek again, but when I didn't, she would come and see what was up only to find me not there. Then she would go and hunt around for me, often finding me in the bedroom closet (of course the door was open for her to see me).  Sometimes when I knew she was nearby, I would peek my head out and say "PEEK!" and she would jump and run off with me chasing her.   Then I would stop on one side of a wall by my kitchen and wait. She would get curious to see where I was, and look around the wall for me. Only I had move and snuck up behind her.

Her and I had great fun!!

Yep. I do it sometimes. Sometimes I use my finger.
