So Cali has worms and both her and Shadow are being treated. My question is if they can be passed to dogs? I ask this because my mom is coming here on Christmas Eve and she is bringing her to small dogs. Just wondering if they would get it if it is being treated and a week later?

What kind of worms are they being treated for?  If they are tapeworms, they have to eat the host or get them through fleas.  If they are roundworms or hookworms the eggs can live in the environment so they can be transmitted that way.

Worms in stool, do they look like squirmy rice? That is tapeworm segments. No threat to the dog unless he ate the poop immediately after the cat pooped. Gross I know but some dogs eat cat poop. The squirmy rice are egg filled segments, but they dry up within 15 minutes in the air.

Spaghetti looking worms are roundworms, not usually expelled in stool unless it is during treatment.

One type of roundworm is contagious to dogs, one type is not.
