Hello from Diana & Dandelion

Hi everyone! My name is Diana and I am "mom" to a Siamese mix girl named Dandelion (Dandy) who will be 6 mo. in January.   My funny looking little calico died 3 yrs. ago and it took this long to get another pet. 

This is the first time I've fed canned food and it's been much more crazy-making than I expected.  I'll post more in appropriate forum later.

On the plus, she has good litter box habits and enough energy for the family; on the minus, we have some biting issues and she has enough energy for the whole family...

Welcome to the site.  I too have a biter, Mercedes, she bites to get your attention.

Dandy thinks nipping is a way to communicate too ("I'm hungry" "I'm bored" "I don't want to move").  I guess Mercedes must be related.

We do have another kitty, but she lives outdoors.  Buttons is a 13-yr-old calico who is still hunting and either sleeps with the dog in his house on the back porch or in the garage.  I don't think she could adjust to an indoor life now.  My husband brought her home all those years ago and then the old dog found the other calico who turned into my indoor/outdoor cat and died 2 years ago.

I need some help with this crazy canned food business so will post there.  No photos right now but maybe in the future.
