Getting Cozy

It is -15 degrees F below zero so we are staying warm and cuddling!

Thank you! I've had the cats before I got this dog, so she was raised near them and it made mixing the species very easy.

 so  sweet, love these mixed babies photos!  How did you get the dogs and kits to get along ?  Were the dogs puppies? or adults? so good to see these

Well the order my current ones came along are:

I have had my 16/17 year old female cat, Soft, the longest. Then came Nellie the fawn colored dog in the second photo as a puppy and was raised around Soft and learned to respect her boundaries. Then came the cat pictured, Thor, and by luck of the draw he was great with all of my resident animals. Last came the Pit Bull in the first photo, Aija, again as a puppy and was introduced to both cats young. She respects them too when they need space but her and Thor have some pretty fun wrestling matches

Thor's got the warmest place in the house. Also love the pic of Nellie & Thor on the back of the couch. That's someplace you don't expect to see a dog, much less a dog with a cat. Too cute!
